Last Friday night, 66 GREENE once again became a convergence point for New York’s creative community. Photographers, stylists, musicians, models, filmmakers, editors, and DJs came together to celebrate the release of Memories for Sale, Alexander’s latest project.
The evening reflected everything 66 GREENE has quietly become: a place where New York’s creative community comes together through shared work, conversation, and culture.

The night opened with cocktails and conversation, giving guests time to reconnect before settling in for the screening. Rather than the pace of a traditional launch event, the atmosphere felt intentionally relaxed. The room functioned exactly as it was designed to: a space where ideas could be exchanged as naturally as introductions.
Before the film began, Alexander addressed the audience with a few words about the core thesis behind 66 GREENE. From the beginning, the project has been driven by a simple belief: make work that serves artists and the creative community first, then figure out everything else later. It was a reminder that, in a landscape increasingly shaped by algorithms and attention spans, there is still value in creating something tangible.
Memories for Sale documents Alexander’s journey building 66 GREENE largely by hand, transforming an empty storefront into an independent home for fashion, music, art, and the people shaping contemporary culture. Rather than focusing on the finished destination, the film lingers on the process itself. It captures the uncertainty, persistence, and conviction required to build something from nothing, ultimately becoming less about a physical space than the community that has grown inside it.
As the credits rolled, the evening shifted naturally back into celebration. Conversations resumed almost immediately before Stonie Blue took over the decks, carrying the energy through the rest of the night. Guests stayed well into the evening, moving between the dance floor, the bar, and familiar conversations that stretched long after the screening had ended.
Supported by Hennessy, who provided cocktails throughout the night, the event never felt overly produced. Instead, it reflected the ethos of 66 GREENE itself: independent, community-driven, and built around the idea that meaningful cultural moments happen when the right people are simply given a place to gather.
